It's no secret to anyone reading this, or to any of my clients, that I adore using Dubsado in my business. I have talked about it often in the past. I use it daily in my business as well as in my clients' businesses.
Since I do get questions from folks about it, especially from fellow solopreneurs who are just getting started in their journey of Freelancing, I figured I would elaborate a little more here. Here are some of the most frequent questions I get from my Dubsado-curious friends.
What is Dubsado?
Dubsado is a business management software designed for small businesses and entrepreneurs. It provides a range of features such as lead capture, client management, invoicing, project management, and more. Dubsado can help streamline business processes and save time by automating repetitive tasks. One of my favorite things is the custom template library it allows you to build as a way to house every document that you create. You can do just about anything with it!
How much does Dubsado cost?
Dubsado offers several pricing plans, starting at $20 per month for the starter plan, which includes up to three users and a limited number of forms and workflows. Higher-priced plans offer more features and customization options, like Zapier Integrations, with the most expensive plan costing $40 per month. If you sign up for a yearly plan, you save 15%. For me, the convenience of billing annually is the way to go. I use the Premier Plan. I also love that they offer a free forever plan for up to 3 Projects, it's a great way to get started!
Why should I use Dubsado for my business?
Dubsado can help businesses streamline their processes, save time, and improve their client management. With features like lead capture forms, automated workflows, and invoicing, Dubsado can help businesses stay organized and on top of their workload. Additionally, Dubsado offers integrations with popular business tools such as Zapier, QuickBooks, and Xero.
How does Dubsado compare to other business management software?
Dubsado is designed specifically for small businesses and entrepreneurs, so it may not be the best fit for larger businesses with more complex needs. However, compared to other business management software like HoneyBook or 17hats, Dubsado offers a more affordable pricing structure and more customizable workflows.
Is Dubsado easy to use?
Dubsado has a user-friendly interface and provides resources like video tutorials, webinars, and a knowledge base to help users get started. However, some users may find it takes time to set up and customize their workflows to fit their business needs. I personally was a bit intimidated by my initial setup at first because the use of a CRM was completely foreign to me as a new business owner. Once I dug in and got my foundation set up, I was IN LOVE. So much so, that I hope to be a Certified Dubsado Specialist in the near future. My best advice here is to write down ALL of your processes and map them out first, then do your setup. You can customize your workflows once you are completely comfortable. I used it manually for the first 6 months just in case I found something along the way that needed tweaking.
Overall, Dubsado is a powerful tool that can help businesses save time and stay organized, and there may be a learning curve for some users. As I mentioned above, I was one of those people, but I encourage you to dig in and give it a go. Once you've gotten comfortable with using it daily, the level of freedom it provides and the upscale feel it gives your onboarding process is one hundred percent worth it.
